Cheese

We love cheese and know that you do too, but we like to do things a little differently around here.

We specialize in American artisan cheese.

Experience the Cheese Counter

When we moved to Phoenix, we realized something was missing: a real cheese shop. You know, the kind with an actual cheese counter where you can taste before you buy, ask questions, and geek out about cultures and rinds with people who actually care.

So we opened one.

Our focus is American artisan cheese. We wanted to bring the special, vibrant cheese community found around the country to Arizona.

We're constantly rotating our case with new finds and seasonal favorites, but we keep a core lineup of the cheeses that Phoenix can't get enough of. Here's who we're proud to work with:

Our Cheesemakers

  • Jason Wiebe Dairy

  • Beehive Cheese Co.

  • Plymouth Cheese Co.

  • Cheese Brothers

  • Crow's Dairy

  • and more

In The Case

  • Cottonwood River Reserve

  • Prairie Breeze

  • Wisconsin Brick Cheese

  • Marieke Golden Gouda

  • Goat Cheddar

Pudgy is the perfect word for this little soft-ripened, washed-rind cheese. It leans into the mild side of washed cheeses, so don’t fear this one. But also be aware it might be your gateway cheese into washed rinds.

Pepper Jack Cheese

The grilling season is upon us (sort of; we live in Arizona, so we grill a little less in summer), so we want to feature a few of our favorite burger cheeses, like this creamy, mildly spicy pepper jack from New Bridge.
